Detailed maps of your region + the major roads of Western Europe on a memory card: Door-to-door navigation in your region and cross border navigation to any town in Western Europe. 199€.
Detailed maps of 20 countries across Western Europe on DVD: Door-to-door navigation in 20 Western European countries. Choose from a combination of regional maps or install one connected map of all of Western Europe on a 1GB memory card (not included). 129€.
The prices are in €'s not £'s. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

i think the 129 euros is the price of the single western europe map as far as i know.. the seven individual maps plus major roads were 60 euros each last time i looked.. which worked out at about 420 euros for the lot..

I think this question refers to the differences between TT1 V1 and the New TT1 rather than the differences between the neww TT1 regional and Europe.
The old TT1 is priced on TT's website at £279, the TT V2 Europe is £269, the TT1 V2 regional is £199.
The differences between the two TT1's are size, processor speed and build quality.
It is also worth stating that although the 'old' TT1 is on the website at £279, any shop that is selling it will sell it around the £199 price point. |

Now I'm confused. I checked the TT site/PDA's and the prices for the software are in Euros. Where does the £199 come from? _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

err, I dont think I am, but tomtom.com doesent say v.1 or v.2 hell I dont knw the differences between the versions, but i think the "old" one is black and not silver.
I am talking about the TomTom ONE REGINAL and TomTom ONE EUROPE £199 & £269
The TomTom ONE that is £279.99 is Black in colour , is that the V.1 ? and the other i mentioned are v.2 ? |

To try and clarify things!
Looking at the link above:-
The black TomTom ONE @£279.99 is the original version of the ONE, now being called V1. It includes street level mapping of only one region.
The new silver TomTom ONE Regional @ £199 is the new version of the ONE, now being called V2 (but, we understand, more correctly referred to as V3). It includes street level mapping of only one region PLUS the Major roads of the rest of (what TT class as) Europe.
The new silver TomTom ONE Europe @ £269 is the new version of the ONE, now being called V2 (but, we understand, more correctly referred to as V3). It includes street level mapping of the WHOLE of (what TT class as) Europe.
If it was me, I know which one I'd choose!

trog | Or, compared to the old unit, "u are paying less money for the bigger more expensive maps in essence." Having said that, I think you'll find the old ONE v1 available heavily discounted elsewhere! _________________ Jock
