|
|
Hello
I've been sent a route by some people who all use TomTom's (boo hiss boo) and the file is in .itn format. Is there anyway I can transfer the .itn file onto my iCN520 so i too can view the palnned route?
Thanks! |

Hi Furballer,
to the forum!
Have a look at POIedit, which is a program for Windows PCs that can read TomTom .itn files and it should be able to convert to a format that you can read so that you can see the longitude and latitude of the waypoints in the .itn file.

Okay... so I've got the .itn files transferred to Navman .csv's but I can not for the life of me work out how to transfer all the files to the navman so I can do a multi-trip route using all the co-ordinates.
Any ideas? |

Hi Furballer,
I’m afraid that I don’t know the Navman software. Do you know if it has itinerary planning?
If not, you could use the .csv file and navigate to each POI in the same order as they appear in the original TomTom .itn itinerary file.
Failing that, you could always get a TomTom unit! ;)

That's what I thought but I can't see the POI's on my Navman. Where would I save the CSV files to, is there a particular folder? I tried saving them to the POI's folder but none of the other files in there are .csv's.
If not, I'll buy a TomTom |

You need to load the POI with POI Editor when running SmartST Desktop. This then converts the csv File to the necessary format. _________________ Richard
