I'm thinking of getting D6 to run on my Dell X51v (with a wired BR355 GPS).
What I want is to be able to plan routes to go to places via other places (a bit like delivery drivers might have to). As far as I know, most nav software only allows you to "go to" one destination.
Does D6 allow you to plan a route with multiple waypoints? And can you plan this on a PC and then upload it to the PDA, or does it have to be done on the PDA?
If D6 doesn't do this, what nav software does? _________________ Home - Dell Axim X51 + BT359 + D6 & MM

A combination of MS Autoroute and TTN5 allows you to set up multipul destinations/waypoints, optimise with Autoroute and save as an Itinerary with ITNConv to your PDA. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Yes D6 does do this. It's within the extras section and called multistop planner; within that there are several options including add/delete/edit stops and route optimisation. |

Yes but it's a little odd in that it doesn't attempt to compute the 2nd leg until you reach your first stop over. Which I guess is OK, just took me by surprise.
And if your route spans maps it doesn't display it correctly but I think it still works. |
