Map Updates

TT Home only offers updates. It has updated your system - not the maps.

There have been no map updates available since the "Update programme" that ran from April to November 2005.

TomTom have sold current maps with each new model sold and these are now a lot newer than the one you have on your GO.

They may be selling new maps on the website but they refuse to say what edition - so you can't tell if it's up to date or not!!

BUT ALSO remember that these maps are intended for people buying a map for a different area from the one they have on the GO. They are not part of the discounted "upgrade" for replacing the map you have with a newer one. These were promised in Quarter 2 and are still awaited.....

"Thank you for contacting TomTom Customer Support.
**The Maps of Western Europe on SD that we have available on our web site is indeed loaded with v6.5 maps.

**The downloadable maps are currently v6.3

**Unfortunately we have no set date for the map update yet.

Glad the TomTom units have better planning than the TomTom humans!
