I've tried it on my i3 numerous times, using all the firmware versions I've used. It's never done more than cause me more grief, and I've never managed to spot any improvement in accuracy that's benefitted me personally.
My advice - try it, if it seems better, stick with it, if it causes you problems go back to normal. |

the i3 has to work harder to locate the egnos sat , sometimes sat aquisition takes longer....for geocaching egnos/waas is helpful but for general mobile use i personnely think its not... _________________ *************************** |

I can't get EGNOS working on my Quest or Holux GPS units.
Does anyone know which satellite number it should use? _________________ Gone fishing! |

not worrying about what satellite it uses or even what my favourite flavour ice cream is..... I find waas egnos to be more accurate in positioning the normal gps.... _________________ -----------------------------------

I don't think the i3 has a satellite screen, how do you know it's working?
Do you just switch it on and presume that you have a 3D Differential lock or does the i3 have some way of telling you? _________________ Gone fishing! |

In use as I approach my house and pull on drive with normal gps selected my i3 says relevant to the road opposite I'm about 3 or 4 houses up the road where as in waas egnos mode being picky it puts me at worst next door. _________________ -----------------------------------
