Mio C210 510 710 USB TRANSFER TOOL AND ACTIVE SYNC UNLOCK

I have Just found a tool called Mio Transfer Hack.exe :D
you can download from http://www.gpspassion.com/upload/Mio_Transfer_Hack.zip

I have managed to get the updated female uk voice working on my c210 with this tool. Laughing

You need a copy of mut.dll which you can find in your mio map updater folder in program files just put the files below in a folder and run Mio Transfer Hack

Mio Transfer Hack.exe
mut.dll

you must close mio synch and mio updater then you can transfer files ok.

Anyone had a look here on how to fully unlock your mio to use active http://mioscripting.blogspot.com/synch

thanks for hack info works OK - just grabbed a few OGG filed from a VIF for TomTom to test it out

I have put the voices in to the folder called voices on my c210 but can't find them.
What am i doing wrong new to satnav and a bit thick Laughing Out Loud

Check that the file sizes match between what you downloaded from the wb and what is uploaded to the Mio. I loaded Phillipa on my C710 and she did not show up in the available list - Some time later I noticed the file on the Mio was somewhat truncated compared to the other voice files, this was via bluetooth BTW, so I uploaded it again and there she was. No reset/reboot nothing - just appeared. Probably a good idea to shutdown Miomap first :-)

Just downloaded the Mio transfer hack tool, unzipped it, but when I click on the icon it complains about a "MUT.dll file not found, reinstalling the application may fix this problem".
Any one else had this? If so how do I get round it?
