|
Had my Dell Axim X30 stolen from my hotel room this week (don't go to the Park Inn Heathrow thieves work there )
I got the Axim from Dell with wired TTN, I still have the cradle and wired GPS bit and an amplified speaker mount from pdamods.
If I can claim against the hotel or my home insurance, is there anything around that can make use of the wired GPS receiver?
Would there be any problems installing TTN5 on whatever I get or shall I just start again? |

Hi spannersatcx
Sorry to hear about your spot of bad luck. It can happen to anyone I suppose.
As for installing TT5 onto another device, well, two things may happen. One, it could install and activate with no probs. Two, it may not activate. If it wont activate then you may have to prove to Tomtom (with receipts) that you have had to buy a new device.
Best of luck. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.

Thanks they should remember me as I got the Dell about a month before TT5 came out and it came with TT3, lets say there was a bit of an argument about getting an upgrade, and I won |
