Hi,

having just started with Mobile 5 I seem to be experiencing very inaccurate voiced turn distances eg turn right in 100yds (when its about 20yds) and turn left in 300 yds (when its probably 150-200). I have standard tt gps mk2 sirf III and (dont laugh!) Nokia 7610.

Does anybody know if this is normal for tt m5?

Many thanks

Make sure you have all your POI's turned off. Too much clutter on screen can slow things down.

Hi - don't have any POIs on the screen!

Are you suggesting my processor (125Mhz) may be the cause?

125Mhz
Personally I would say yes, my old Mio 168 had a 288Mhz processor and even without POI's enabled I would say that's the minimum for up to TTN5 and for 6 I beleieve the minimum required is around 400Mhz.

Ok - I believe you - so I will wait for the vario II to drop in price - it looks just the ticket. Many thanks for suggestions.
