|

Okay here goes.
I have a new GB Tomtom ONE. I have added POIs to the Great_Britain Map_Plus folder as both .ov2 files and .bmp files.
When I go to enable POIs none of these are shown. I have read all - yes all - the threads on this and it appears I am the only one that cant get it working. Tomtom Home shows them on the right hand side as installed but I cant see them on the ONE.
These POIs are on my wives Go510 and work perferctly.
PLease, please please could you help.
Thanks |

type po for pocketgps and the first poi will show up in the list you then enter the conditions for the poi, you need to do this for all the poi's to be shown so they can be enabled |

You are not alone in this so there are 2 of us who cant get this to work
My plight is as follows - I bought a TomTom 910 and then realised it was too good for me so I got he new tomtomone V2 GB.
I have copied the safety camera database from a backup of the 910 onto the one and as you say the home software picks up the info on the right hand side (and you can delete the POI's if you like) so they are on the SD card somewhere but I cannot get the TomTom One to realise they exist under any of the POI's even when I expand the menus to show all menus.
Can anyone help this noobie (happy to admit I dont know what I'm doing!). |

I downloaded the latest POI's from this website and it worked first time - you can select and adjust as you see fit.
I know this doesn't hep your personal situation I just wonder if it has something to do with which version of TomTom hardware you have as when you download the POI's you have to choose the model number which makes me think there is some software differences. |

Nope, it's not that. The POI format is the same for all TomTom models.
You haven't got a huge number (100+) of ADDED POI categories have you? |

Nope - just the tomtom as it came out of the box.
I'm sorted as I just bought the POI's from here and they seem to work fine - thanks for all the help. |

| I assume you have copied over the TomTom safetycam POI's that came pre-installed with the Go510. These are encrypted for the Go510 and will only work on GoX10, not on the ONE. If you try to add these to a non-X10 device, these cams will not show up as POI.
For that you would need a subscription for your device and download the for your device encrypted cams. (Only if you want a paid TT subscription of course ;) ) _________________ GO1005
