Can the "Navigate To" menu be amended in TT6,in TT5 I can select eg.Navigate to/poi/hospital ,enter in touchpad keyboard hospital name which will then plan a route direct to hospital.
The tt6 I have seen the option seems limited to"navigate to/poi/ "poi near you" "poi in city"
"near home" "near destination" "along the route"
or am I missing something.any advice would be grateful,I was considering upgrading for newer maps, but if I cannot navigate direct to poi,s I will probably not bother. |

I'm pretty sure i know what your talking about, the other reply authors have missed the P0Int i think (excuse the pun 8) ).
What your saying is: when you navigate to a POI which is part of a list of POIs inside a POI category - you can't search by text as the soft keypad displayed in the bottom left of the screen in TT5 is not there in TT6. So you have to manually hit the page down button and keep on going until you find the one you need.
eg. i have created a POI category called "work". In that category i have added approx 280 POIs. In TT5 you can navigate to POI then choose your category then search by name inside your chosen category - this facility (unbelievably) is not there in TT6. I have searched through the settings and can't see an option to "switch" this on - i can only, therefore, presume they added the pointless never to be used Buddies and took out the POI search facility.
To be honest though i would be happy to stay with TT5 and, indeed, only looked at TT6 in order to get the newer map. As soon as i discovered this issue i stopped right there and did not purchase TT6. _________________ Apple iPhone 5, Navigon, Brodit ProClip Mount |

At the bottom of the screen is Find. This brings up the keyboard and allows a Search by name.
Or at least it does on my V6. _________________ Richard
