Hi all.
After sucessfully installing v3.2 my bluetooth connection to my phone now doesn't work. (Nokia 6230i).
Everything was working sweet before the update.
The Mio bluetooth still works with my PC and the phone's bluetooth still work s with the PC too.
Something odd going on around here.
I've now unpaired the phone with the Mio and it will not let me pair it up again saying 'Pairing failed'.
Anyone else had this and, if so, how do I get round it because I used this function a lot.
Thanks in advance.

I am having the exact same problem, recently purchased a Mio 510 and everythin worked fine for the first few days when pairing it to my Nokia 6630. However a few days ago i tried to pair it and i failed and i haven't been able to get it to work since then. I have tried other phones (Samsung D500 and Siemens S65) but neither have been able to find the Mio when searching for new devices. Can't think of anything else so i am planning to return the Mio to the store as i am well within the 28 days (only had it one week). This has left me unsure as whether to purchase another Mio. |

Well so far, after upgrading to 3.2, my BT USB adapter is still working. |

Hi all.
Thanks for the responses.
stephenh1983.
I've had mine for some 6 months now and the problem has only happened after the upgrade. Everything was fine till then.
GPSBear.
I can still get the Mio to communicate with my PC via bluetooth, just not the phone.
I'm sure this must be a software thing.
I'm going to try a clean reinstall to see if that solves my problem.
I'll keep you posted.

Not 100% sure if this helps but I have a Nokia 6230i and a C710 - these are still functioning correctly after the v3.2 upgrade. |

Hi all.
Never got round to doing a clean install but how's this for weirdness of the highest order?
Got in my car this morning (Mon) and lo and behold Mio paired with my phone all by itself.
It had been trying to do this since Friday, everytime I turned the thing on, but no joy.
Maybe the Mio wanted the weekend off!
Anyway, calm has been restored. :D
Thanks for all your replies.

However, I have never been able to work out why sometimes the connections will happen automatically when I turn the C510 on, and at other times I have to press the Bluetooth icon and faff around to get a connection.
And, has anyone got an elegant solution to the blinding blue light, which I find distracting at night? My current inelegant solution is to stick a bit of blu-tak over it.

mine's as coarse as yours :-)
I've got a black permanent marker & it's quiet soothing, I must say.
I have searched high and low to get an 'elegant' solution but could not get one. At one forum I remember ,someone suggested turning the BT completely off . duh ! |

I've just used a piece of black insulating tape cut into a small square.
Hardly notice it as it's virtually the same colour as the case. :D
