Viking 2Gb SD card and TomTom 510

Does anyone know if this particular 2Gb SD card is compatible with the 510?

Also, whether having a high speed card makes a lot of difference to the everyday performance of the 510 in the car (not when transfering files across on the pc).

Yes TomTom recommend you use the highest speed SD card available, Their have been some compatability problems with the standard SD Cards. I have a 2GB Datawrite HighSpeed SD Card which works brilliant with my TomTom 510 and best of all their under £18 from here http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000H627ZI/ref=pd_rvi_gw_1/026-3214034-2772431?ie=UTF8

Thanks. So what speed should i be looking for?

Also what speed is the Datawrite? I can't see it stating it anywhere.

You can get the specs here http://www.datawrite.co.uk/pdf/datawrite_memory_cards.pdf (You'll ned Adobe Reader) These are the claimed specs 160x Read (24MB/s) 133x Write (20MB/s).

Not sure what speed is best, I chose the Datawrite because I felt it was the best choice for value and performance.
