Has anyone tried running TT6 on an Ipaq 3950 WM2003.
Don't want to go and spend my hard earned money only to find that it will not work.
And yes, I know it's not in TomTom's list of compatiable devices. It wasn't in the list for TT5 but it runs just fine. |

Works OK on a 3970 - probably won't break any speed records though... |

tested it on my 3950 with windows 2003! yes it works! but dont waste your money! i went back to tomtom 5 as it has more options ie rotation of map to widescreen! better warning sounds! automatic full volume! the tomtom6 extras are services that get them more cash! its upto you! |

Reviving this thread from the dead...I hope I didnt miss something in my previous searches.
I have an ipaq 3950, with navman 3450 gps sleeve and its original pocket pc 3.0 (not 2003) OS. Will any of the tomtom navigation softwares work with this setup? I currently run the old v1.? smartst navman software that was bundled with the sleeve, but the maps are quite old now. I dont use it very often, so I dont want to spend much money to upgrade. TT5 on ebay for cheap right now...
Thanks for your help!

To run TT6 you'll need to upgrade to WM2003. TT5 will run on PC2002 without any problems.
I've upgraded mine to WM2003 and running TT6 for the last couple of months without any probs. |

Thanks.
Could anyone please point me in the right direction to upgrade to WM2002 or WM2003?
Also, in general is it faster to access maps and software on the SD card in the iPaq, or the CF card in the sleeve? |

cool, thanks, I have an wm2003 upgrade disc on the way.
Will an ultra II 2 gb CF card work in the navman 3450 sleeve? I currently have only a 128mb CF card... |
