|
|
I don't know if anyone can point me in the right direction or give me a solution to my frustrating problem.
I am visiting the sates in 3 weeks and have been trying to purchase the North American maps for the ICN520. Navman recalled all the maps prior to an iminent release of their latest versions. They have been promising me that they would be ready for my trip and have now told me there will be no chance they are going to be released.
Has anyone got a copy of them for sale or know where i can buy them?
I just dont want to have to buy maps for my brothers TomTom.
Any help will be very much appreciated. |

Try this company here
They appear to have the full US maps in stock - not cheap, however!

Actually, having corrected the link, I'm not sure that those maps will work anyway. They are V3 and the 520 shipped with SmartST2005, so need 2005 maps I think. _________________ Tim |

After a quick search of their site, however, these should fit the bill. About 2/3 of the price of the V3 maps, too. :o _________________ Tim |

Thanks for the speedy replies Guys. The TomTom maps are about the same money, so i was prepared to spend that anyway.
I have just ordered them now online, hopefully i won't get a call tomorrow saying they have sent them all back to Navman like my last order with Handnav. Fingers crossed.
Cheers anyway.

The maps come on cd's. You just add and remove the maps off your icn using the Smart ST desktop software. No need to get another sd card.
Hope this helps?
Will let you know how i get on, as i have bought mine for Florida. |
