Afraid you've hit one of the most often repeated questions on here!
Use the search button at the top of this page, put "19mph" in the search box and set it to search JUST this part of the forum ("Pocket GPS Speed Camera Database").
You'll find the answer in a trice. |

I'll tell him, But Andy is right, You will get a quicker answer if you use the search button. 30mph is 19kph and 40mph is 25kph, you have downloaded the database in kilometres/hour, and not miles/hour. You need to delete the database, then download it again, but make sure you have it set to MPH and not KPH. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

can anyone on here help me please?
I've got a go 510. I've downloaded the speed camera voices from this website & i've paid £2 to download the Camera database from here too. I've all the instructions as far as i can see in relation to loading them onto my SD Card, however i cant find the images or anything in my POI's?
What am i doing wrong?
Someone else told me to disable the Speed Camera warnings which were on the tom tom already which i have done as they said you will get two warnings for the same camera.
I can see the images on the SD Card when my Go is docked to my PC but not on my go?
will they come up automatically when i pass a speed camera or do i have to activate them? & if so, how?
i've downloaded the version with the highest Number as mine is 6.510 so what amn i doing wrong?
Help me please

Andy, First off did you unzip the download to reveal the individual files. Then make sure you have copied the .ov2 and .bmp files to the map folder on the devices memory card.
To enable the warnings go to Change Preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When Near POI and select each camera type you have installed and configure it for a warning. If you have chosen to install the speed zoned set-up this will require 24 camera categories to be set, THIS Guide will give you a few ideas, just ignore the Text To Speach option as your device doesn't support this feature, choose a different warning instead, there is a limit of 100 custom POI's on the device you are using, if you have installed loads of POIs this could be why your device can't see them - Mike |
