I have "borrowed" a friend's beta version of TTN6 (Version 6.000) on his IPAQ.
However, I am now horriffied that on a 150 mile round trip today, that selecting POIs as a destination is now changed.
So several questions. Is there a way fo changing it back to as it was in TTN5? Did it change out of the beta release back to as it was in TTN5.
The reason I ask is that all my customers are held in one POI file. This was held as the first POI on the screen when I went into the Navigate to|POI and then select my customer file and then the customer, usually by typing in the first 4 chars of the customer name. However, on the new version, the POI are now - "ones near to where I am, ones near to a city, ones near my destination (why? if I have not set a destiniation)".
I use this file everyday and when it searches, it takes an age..
Does anyone know the answers to my questions? I have checked back through the forum and can find no-one mentioning this beforehand which was a surprise.
Thanks
Simon
Thanks in advance... _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk)

You can still use the same steps, albeit one more, Navigate to ... | Point of Interest | POI near you | Select POI Name | type chars.
After a few times this will appear with the new Icon 'Any POI Category'. _________________ Richard

Richard - Thank you - That works (well not for my inept fingers).
Although I cannot help feeling that this is a backward step (like losing permanent avoids) _________________ iPhone5, TomTom, Google maps, Navfree, Viewranger and Apple Maps (ekk)
