Hello....got my new icn 520 today put in the postcode search cannot even find next door as i live in a 7 digit area so 5 digit is useless,
would be very gratefull if some kind gentlemen could link me mail or tell me how or where i can get the 7 digit poscode's from.

If you need an iCN to find next door, I doubt it will help you much elsewhere either :D
However the latest Navman software has 7 digit postcodes. This is apparently due for release as an upgrade to the 5xx series very soon.

Thanks for the reply but my meaning of cannot find next door( this is crap ) if it won't find next door i'll be lucky if it will find anywhere....i read about the new release out this month but how much we going to have to pay....i thought by buying this a bit cheaper than a tom yom 1 was a good deal guess i was wrong......by the time we pay for upgrade....to tom wins.

You do not need post code to find "next door" just enter the street address.

You may need to type in "area" first.

My 520 won't list my street name unless I put the town in first.

The safety cameras should show up on the map display, and as you approach one you will get the dreadful "bong".

If you want to say the street and town, perhaps we can have a look to ensure it is there Idea

As far as safety cameras are concerned....

If you go Main Menu - Preferneces - My Data - My POI

is the safety camera file present?

If it isn't, then carefully go through the procedure to load it again.

If it is present, is the tick box checked?

You cannot actually set the time as the time is set by the satelite signal. However, you can change the local time offset from GMT. Go to Settings - More settings - Measurements and set it currently to UTC 1:0 (that's 1hr + GMT)
