Hi anarchyuk.
I would opt for the PGPSW database every time.
Trouble with the Mio database is that it copies new cameras that you have added, to it's database. Fair enough, but if anyone else has entered the same camera a yard or so away from yours, you get two cameras appear in the same place in your new downloaded database.
I have seen 3 & 4 cameras but I believe someone round here has seen 5 cameras in the same location.
A very loud word of warning though.
You must, must, must delete Miosync from your PC before you even attempt to install the PGPSW database.
The reason being that Miosync copies your files before it downloads to your machine.
You will end up giving Mio a free copy of the whole PGPSW database.
Not part of the plan, me thinks.

Could you please give instructions for downloading the PGPSW database and transferring the data to my C210.
The User Manual is very vague to say the least and any advice/assistance would be greatly appreciated. |

any suggestions? | I'm holding off updating as I was informed that version 3.2 of Miomap will allow updating with third-party databases.
I'm not entirely convinced by this and I waiting anxiously for any signs of a downloadable update from Miotech. It was supposed to be available in September but clearly there are issues - I don't see why though as 510s are shipping with V3.2, apparently.

There are plenty of user guides on how to register and download the database, you just have to click on the links on the left-hand panel. As to loading it on your C210, that is another matter. I have no experience of the C210, but on the C510 and C710 the only way it can be done (after processing the data into the correct file format) is via bluetooth. Does the C210 have bluetooth? If not, you are stuffed.
