I've been running Tom Tom 5 using a Viewsonic V37 (Pocket PC 2002) for a year now without any problem with a Haicom 204e mouse style GPS unit but to get TomTom 6 to work I needed to upgrade to Pocket PC 2003 and now the device won't detect the Haicom 204e when plugged into the port at the bottom of the V37.
TomTom 6 is working just fine but cannot find the GPS now, tried another GPS program and same problem.
I've selected Other NMEA GPS receiver
then 4800 Baud Rate
Then get 4 options
USB Cable
Serial Cable on COM1:
COM3:
Native IR
With or without the GPS plugged in I nly get those same 4 options to connect to and none of them seem to work.
It seems as if upgrading to Pocket PC 2003 stops it seeing that a GPS is now plugged into the V37
