It should work, there was an issue using earlier Memory Map versions on WM2005 but there have been a number of posts reporting it working on various WM2005 devices, why not try loading it? - Mike |

Thanks for your reply,I have loaded it,and when it finished, a screen said it may not work properly because it was designed for a earlier version of mobile windows.
When I click on the program nothing happens, I have tried loading it on the sd card, and on the ppc but nothing works, it is not a pirated copy, it is registed etc. Looks like it may end up on ebay, Bert |

Don't bother about the warning message, make sure when you install to PDA that the program goes to Main Memory on the device, then export a visible portion of map to the memory card, don't try loading an entire map to the PDA it will struggle to open it - I must say I am surprised it doesn't work as I have MM running on a number of units, I would have to re-load an earlier version though to try this specific problem, something for later! - Mike |

I have exactly the same problem on my HP2490B running CE5.0 and it is driving me potty because I am sure it used to work. Trouble is I have no idea what has changed. I have tried a reload and done a hard reset but nothing works. I am stuck, any idea please

Nomad, can you offer more details as to what doesn't work, does the application transfer and install to the PDA or is your issue with the map transfer to the device, also are you using SD or CF storage card? - Mike |

It is exactly as fishingdobbie discribes i.e.
I have loaded it,and when it finished, a screen said it may not work properly because it was designed for a earlier version of mobile windows.
When I click on the program nothing happens it is registed etc.
I am using an SD card for the map data but it is the MM application (OS2004) which is loaded in the PDA memory that will not open, absolutely nothing happens, the application just will not run.

I've just downloaded a demo version of some French maps using version 5.4.0 and that works fine but dammed if I can get version 4 to run on the PDA.
nomad
ps it is the latest version of 4 ie 4.4.3
pps I've just revalidated my licence just to make sure that was not a problem. |
