I cant find the overlay map on pocket GPS world only the poi-loader-speed-camera database that is for the quest 2.
Have they stopped doing the Quest 1 overlay type map that you used to get from Walter Wright ??? |

Not very well when compared to the proper database my i3. You have to reload your entire UK mapset along with the overlay map. A dot appears on the map at speed camera locations, you have to keep your eyes on the screen too much IMHO. You also have to be at an appropriate zoom level to see the dots. _________________ Chas

I can view the 'dots', at any zoom level.
The coloured icons/dots represent the different class of camera. |

I was referring to my Garmin Quest1, you can set the level at which the dots appear, mine is at 800ft which the most zoomed out setting I run whilst navigating.
On the Quest I can't see a way to upload the overlay without having to re-upload the maps as well, if you know different please enlighten me _________________ Chas

I see'skippy' has used the Quest [his photo of the overlay, at 0.8m, on Wired's website]
He may be able to help. |

As far as I know there is no way to get around having to reload the entire map set which is a bit of a pain. _________________ Gone fishing! |
