After getting an email from Tom Tom I was told to do a reinstall and it's seems to be OK except when you switch it on you have to press the button for a couple of seconds for it to start
Take care |

This is to avoid unknowingly switching it on & having the battery flat which was so easy to do before. _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

how do you get this firmware version? My 910 says firmware version 6.110(7020) and doesn't upgrade to 6.51 or even give me the option to upgrade to 6.51 when connected to tthome.
Hope you can point me in the right direction.
Cheers

I have updated to 6.51 and although I haven't tried it "live" yet I tried it in demo mode travelling down the M42 past the multiple variable speed gatso's and it would seem that the POI alert bug has been fixed! It gave me both audible and visual alerts for all the cameras without having to have a navigation instruction in between.
Can anyone confirm that this is true? as I won't be travelling that way for a while. |

Have you got HOME to check automatically for updates when you are logged on and have your device connected?

Hi,
I have the GO510 and has it set to automatically check for updates. It did update some GPS thing two days a go but it says "There are no updates" despite the fact I am still on ver 6.110 (7020/060606).
Any ideas? |

i think 6.51 is just for the one.. my home updates my 300 to 6.50 but not 6.51.. it updated a 5.41 and a 6.10 card so it should at least give u 6.50..
it also gave me an updated version of home last night.. i cant see any dfiferences but it gave me the update..
praps it has "no update" off nights he he..
