Has anybody managed to get a case for their new tomtom one v2?
Nobody seems to have them - I placed an order with globalpositioningsystems.co.uk as they stated "Availability: Usually ships in 2/3 days" but I'm thinking that's unlikely to be met. I see that you can order them on the tomtom site - maybe I should cancel and order from them? Anybody got one yet? |

I've been trying to get one for a couple of weeks too. Today I bought one in Argos or so I thought! It clearly showed the new tomtom one v2 case below the new v2 unit in the magazine in store. I paid my money, and what did I receive? an old tomtom one case. I immediately got a refund. Its very un-impressive of tomtom. They cannot tell me when they will be on sale. Halfords still don’t know when they are coming in nor do any of the big high street stores. |

Yes but delivery is 9.95 Euros, which i really think is too much just to pay for a case. I personally think £20 for the case is a rip off. |

its better than OC/UKs 8 quid plus vat for a 7 quid sd card.. he he
there does seem to be minimum charge in operation with most places which does kinda make a small cheap item not such a bargain as it seems..
i put it to the test and ordered a dozen sd cards.. i still got t.. the same 8 quid plus vat
its a common ebay sellors trick as well.. super cheap price and make money on the shipping charge..

Yeah me too, my original transaction fail through (partly my fault I entered the wrong card number )
So I ended up ordering from easydevices on Wednesday afternoon and it turned up Friday Morning.
The carry strap was damaged (strap is cut in half) - but I won't report it as I only wanted the case.
Question: What is the velcro inside the case for? Seems like it's only function is to scratch the screen?! |

velcro thing is for an extra sd card - I think.
Pain the arse the case not having a belt loop though - pretty poor design but ok to keep it from getting scratched. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------------

I would contact easydevices £23 for the case given its size etc. in the future you may have a use for the strap or wish to sell the unit / case and the strap may be of use to the new owner.
They should send you a replacement out just let them know |
