TomTom has released firmware version 6.51 for the GO 510, 710 and 910. This release features support for TMC and TomTom CarConnect. Version 6.51 is only available through TomTom HOME.
New features to support TMC (available soon) & Car Connect, new exit splash screen. May be more not finished looking.
HOWEVER the upgrade does seem to knock out TTS on the 510 if using from my 910 - know I probably shouldn't but I do! |

Has anybody tried this new version yet?I am still running v6.110 because I like the unit to power down automatically, will this new version let you do this? I have a feeling it won't but here's hoping. _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

I don't think you are forced to you tomtom's, I think you can just delete them & use pgpsw database _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

Quite. Or you could use both systems side by side. _________________ Tim |

I upgraded my 910 to the new software, but I have now lost my TTS voices (Kate, computer voice) - the file seems to be on the TomTom if I search using Windows explorer, but it isn't showing up on the TT menu (greyed out) or on TTHome as installed voices. How do I get it back - not having it means my PGPSW speedcam warnings have lost their voice warning!
Please help! |

Did you make a previous back up of the device? - if so copy the Loquendo folder back to the 910 and it should work - Mike |
