Garmin C310 POI / Speed Cameras

Hi All.

I am new to the world of GPS and this site and wondered if you can help ?

I loaded POI (speed cameras) on my C310 lastnight and it loaded ok but have a few questions. Firstly, when i pass a camera etc i do not get a picture of the camera/traffic lights on the screen where it is located ?

Also. When i upgrade the POI (speed cameras) in a months time etc, does it completely reload the POI's (speed cameras) on the system and over right whats already on there or just add the new cameras etc ?

Last but not least. I have found some more POI ( local shops/banks etc). if I load these on, will they just add the my existing POI's or over right them ?

A "Search for all terms" on "POI overwrite" with "Display results as posts" checked shows 110 matches, including this one, which should answer your last two questions.

However, you will need to check your spelling before entering the search terms! Wink

As I don't have a C310 I can't answer your first question, except to say that on the i3 I get both a visual and audio alert when approaching a speed camera, whatever speed I'm doing, with continuing alerts if I exceed the limit.
