There was a problem recently that the ONE wouldn't display as a Virtual. It would appear that you've got only half way.
The only thing that I can think of is to remove HOME and then download it again from TomTom, while you are Logged In there, and see if it makes a difference. _________________ Richard

TomTom have yet to update a file needed for the virtual TomTom in TomTom Home for the new TomTom One v2. That's why you get the message at the top "At this time there is no component available that is compatable with your TomTom device."
When I installed TomTom Home and first used the virtual TomTom It asked me to download a component, Which for me it did (I have a TomTom 510).
It's just a waiting game for all the new TomTom One v2 owner's for TomTom to update the component required by TomTom Home for the virtual TomTom feature to work. |

Personally I would say the tomtom ONE at £199
I would tho cos thats what i have and love it!
I think the navmans appeal more to the younger drivers on a low budget (note some navman models with mp3 capability).
The tomtom ONE is much much more user friendly and with a 7 digit post code search you cant go wrong.
Thats my opinion, i cant speak for others as i've not tried others, but originally i was tied between the icn520 and the ONE... i know i made the right choice :D
best bet is go into your local comet/pc world or currys and ask them for a demo and some more insight before you part with your cash... i tend to stay away from "halfruads" due to a past expirience.
All the best |
