well looks like after lots of debating, im gonna get this one. seems to get better review than route 66 and tom tom doesnt support n73.
does anyone know if this will work with it though? im guessing it will judging by it supporting the n93 and n80, but i hate to just assume and lose £150 |

oh well i took the plunge and bought it. seems to work fine, apart from i was losing connection to gps unit every few minutes and then it would crash about 15 mins later. Im suspecting its the power save mode on the phone, ive disabled it and so far all seems well |

ah, looks like its a comptability issue rather than anything else, the same as was with the n80 i believe. think ill hang onto it though and use my old n70 as a dedicated gps unit for now as it seems like really good software, and im led to believe the problem is being worked on |

You are right in your assumption, I have had an ongoing discussion with Navicore support who have provided an excellent service. Navicore have confirmed a problem with the N73 and its bluetooth in that it is unreliable. They are awaiting a fix/answer from Nokia when they hope then to have it on the supported phone list. |

My guess is they have flashed it themselves, various links to the firmware package are doing the rounds. I am waiting for it to be added to the online updater but I am beginning to wonder about giving it a go. I flashed my N70 ok but a bit reluctant at the moment to try it on the N73. |

i went to the service centre, gave them my phone, went back later only to find no change. they insist my phone is running the latest firmware yet its still 0.1.
so the only other way is online via third party, im not reluctant, its insured/under warranty, i just dont know how to do it :/ |

I'll wait for it to appear on the Nokia software updater, the N73 is now on the Navicore compatible phone list (new firmware reqd.), just need to get firmware update installed now. |

Excellent news, my N73 died on me and has gone back to service for repair. I did ask for latest firmware to be installed so I hope it has been done. |

well if your service centre is anythinglike mine, they will only flash the newest one if you have a generic handset, otherwise you may have to pay.
been using mine today, no disconnections |
