you can only activate around 25 POI's on the navman that you download |

They are probably there OK - it's just that they will not show up. Set a route on which you know there is a McDonalds and see if the icon shows up. _________________ Gee-Pee

The POI's can't be loaded onto the SD card - you can move some maps there if your iCN is fll. failing that delete some languages as these use a large amount to memory - see previous posts on how to do all this. |

Note that “or newer” in the Camera POI list is incorrect for newer devices. If you have 530 or 7xx, they will only take speed cameras in three piece format (.bm, .map, .ini), older four piece format is not support (.bm, .map, .ini, .chk). Same goes for other 5xx that used four piece format – even though three piece format is newer it won’t work! The best way to ensure that speed cameras you download do work is to find them in CSV format (text file with comma separated values) and use your Navman Desktop that you got with the device to covert them into the format appropriate for your device.
For explanation how to load POI onto SD card check here:

No, 'or newer' is currently still valid. The process for transferring the files hasn't changed, even though the number of files created by said transfer has. The only difference is that the 7xx defaults to search for .csv files although itcan still be forced to look for .asc files. It then uses them as normal. _________________ Tim |
