Got my new TT1 Regional from Halfords Taunton today.
Map Version 6.500 Great Britain and Republic of Ireland.
Can confirm that the Irish coverage is much improved. Every place I've entered is listed even if its not always got much street detail at least you can now navigate to those far out spots like Dunglow etc.
Mount seems a little bit flimsy, will have to see how that stands up to a few miles.
Cant seem to disable the TomTom tips even though I have disabled them in preferences.
Anyone else need info let me know
Thanks |

If you can't find the icon make sure that you have selected "Show all menu options" in preferences, otherwise it will be hidden - Mike |

Are you sure about the mapversion? They are normally in xxx.yyyy format. I was expecting different numbers to 6.500, I have to say. The maps on my 910 are 650.1052, for instance. _________________ Tim |

Hi Borgman
So does the new One suffer from the "freezing" problems of other tomtom's?
I am trying to decide whether to go back to a Nuvi or swap to tomtom. If the new One is not reliable then I'm not really bothered if it's routing etc. is better.
Cheers - Nick |

My replacement seems fine.
I had a Nuvi 310 for a few weeks but much prefer TT, the interface is much more straight forward, the maps are clearer and the screen moves more smoothly.
