Hi, I use Tom Tom Mobile 5 with my Nokia mobile and want to download safety camera database to add to my POI's. Is the software available here , if so which one do I use and how is it installed ? I have a card reader/writer. |

With any TomTom you would use the OV2 and BMP Files to Display POI.
So, yes, you can make use of the Database and the un-zipped Files, (not Folders), are placed in the Map Folder.
To set up Warn When Near, check out This Topic. _________________ Richard

But before you can download them you have to subscribe - £2 per month or £19 per year _________________ Peter

Thanks , but still having problems. If I download Tom Tom OV2 file to my desktop , which I have done, this just shows as a file, how do I unzip it? |

Hi I have downloaded the POI data for the speed cameras. The speed cameras are shown on the map, but I am not alerted to them when i am close.
Is this what is supposed to happen?
Is there anyway to get a prior warning about them?
Thanks

Go into Change Preferences | Manage POI | Warn When Near.
It's the same for all TT Devices. The process is shown in the GO instructions which can be found Here. _________________ Richard

Solution found!
The folder on my desktop was not a zip file, so did a right click on it and renamed it with ".zip" after it and then was able to unzip it and transfer files! System works really well. |
