|

Hi everyone! Totally off! Stolen today on Churchill way in Cardiff. Glass smashed and unit stolen. I've just moved house and I can ill afford another. Who's selling them cheap and is it any use getting the new model (the one with the internal memory) or should I get something else? |

sorry to hear that mate...
i am from cardiff too and make sure i never leave my i3 in the car as its small enough to carry... not that cardiff is worse than any other city! but you can see the suction cup marks on my windscreen so i always worry about a smashed window when i go back to my car!!
lesson to all... dont leave sat nav in car!!! |

I have started to use the disk and stuck it of the dash board. Therefore it leaves no suction marks on the wind screen and a lay a A-Z over the disk so that the disk cannot be seen from prying eyes! |

The price they charge!! It would be worth the money. I'd put a dirty nappy on top. |

No-ones ever broke in though...Don't know why might be that spike my 9 1/2 stone rottweiller with a head the size of a 21" monitor and teeth the size of keys, lays in there asleep, if people look in the car he gets up and roars and shakes the car when he moves about in there from front to back...He's fantastic..
One evening whilst having a quiet beer in the front pub garden of my local i was watching the car which was about 200 yards from me, a group of youths with hoods and baseball caps you know the usual scumbags looking for there next spliff were eyeing my car over and had spotted the Laptop, i thought this will be fun as i normally leave the rear passenger window open about 3 inches so spike can get some fresh air whilst he's sleeping, the scumbags had seen this and one of them proceeded to put his arm through the window to reach down and open the rear door, little did he know what was about to happen as the rattling had woken spike from his slumber and on seeing a tasty looking bone inside the car proceeded to rise and roar out one of his barks which frightens the living daylights out of most people, he then grabbed the arm with both jaws and the guys face i could see had filled with terror as all his mates just deserted him and ran for their lives..
I could see him scrabbling in terror trying to pull his arm from spikes jaws and the window gap, after a couple of seconds he managed to get his arm back but not before Spike had removed some of his flesh, never saw the incident repoted to the police or in the local papers. But i bet he never tries to enter someone elses property again...:-) He he he... |
Did you not have a camera or a mobile phone with one at hand??? |

Yeah Cardiff always seemed bad for that sort of thing when i lived there. One of my mates had his jump leads stolen and another had a coat stolen from the car.
don't leave anything on view, unless you have a huge dog in the car |
