Now that the release of TTN 6 is official, can anyone "in the know" advise if the new maps will run on TTN 5? Given that TTN 5 was such a pile of poo on release, I won't be in any hurry to upgrade the software! |

going off previous ways of working the new maps wont run on ttn5 so youll have to upgrade to v6 to be able to use the maps _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Good bye IOS don't let the door hit you on the way out .

Does anyone know if TT6 will work with an IPAQ4150. According to the compatibility list posted on another thread (tt6 pictures) it will not be compatable. If it will not work on my IPAQ then I would still want the latest maps. If you cannot get the latest maps to work with TT% then I guess I will have to look for another product |

It does work 100% on the h4150.
Does anyone know how the postcodes work with v6? Do they have to be in the zip folder and a seperate empty TomTom folder like with v5? _________________ Check out my Pocket PC Ramble blog |

personally i think mobilefun might have jumped the gun a little as its only just been anounced so some testing may still be going on and the list may not be complete as looking at the compatability list on mobile fun they only seem to list mainly wm05 machines for some reason. id wait for the compatabillity list to go up on tomtoms site before making a decsision _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Alix is absolutely right - there's loads of nonsense being talked about V6; I presume that TT support 'going away' on Friday lunchtime and the absence of the support area of the website all indicate that they're gearing up for the inevitable confusion! Bide your time before judging what V6 can or can't achieve/compatibility etc.
Websites are still *news flash*ing that V6 doesn't support pocket PC, but we know that just isn't true. _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek! |

I was hoping that this had been tried by the "inner circle" that was privvy to the fact that TTN 6 actually existed. If not, this thread may as well be locked before any more pointless off topic posts are added. |

A friend of mine has laid his hands on a copy and has tried TT6 maps with TT5 and confirms that they will not work.
