Recently I bought an Ipaq 2210 that has Windows Mobile 2003 (italian version) and I'm not able to use my GPS receiver BT-308 with Navigator 2 or Destinator 2.
Until two months ago I had a Compaq 3970BT and I hadn't problems with Bluetooth connection with BT308.
With Ipaq 2210 I loose the link with GPS. Teorically Ipaq anf GPS are linked but on BT manager they are bot paired.
It seems that update recently released on HP site fixes the problems of the BT manager of Ipaq 2210, but unfortunately the update is only for WM2003 english version and it's impossible to install on italian version.
Anyone has my same problem? Is there a solution or i have to buy another Ipaq model? |

Mike, most of the problems relating to BT disconnections are usually down to memory, so if you have other things loaded in background memory like Word, or other apps or utils this can highlight the problem more. Sometimes soft resetting before using TTN2 or Destinator can help a little, and also making sure you have atleast 14mb free in main memory. |

if you wish to apply the HP BT Update to a non English WM2003 device simply set your system locale to UK or US English. Then you will be able to apply the update after which you can revert to your chosen system locale _________________ Darren Griffin |

Unfortunately all these things were already tested
Soft reset, hard reset, no other applications running, a new CF 512 MB...
This afternoon I'll try the solution proposed from Darren
Thanks a lot for your support

I changed the settings but the problem is always there...
This the message I receive when I try to install the update: "Language ID incompatible. This setup is for language ID: ENGLISH".
