Hello
Somebody already uses version 6 for PDA or Mobile Phones?
Tell, whether there is on an applied DVD-disk a map of Moscow and St.-Petersburg?
And 1 more question:
on tomtom.com in tomtom NAVIGATOR 6 overview write:
"Detailed maps of 20 countries ...on a 1GB memory card (not included)."
But, in TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 - In The Box write:
"1. Mini SD memory card..."
What is not included: DVD-disk or memory card? _________________ All thanks

What could be more off topic than not to use the native-tongue of the forum? Especially as the original question was posed in English!
I will expect nothing less than complete self-censorship, Eldar - you live by the sword, be my guest to die by it.

Very well, I will correct my post. I hope you will apply the same rigorous standards to what you write in these forums.
And one more thing - censor and moderator are two different things, but I wouldn't expect you to see the difference. If you have an issue with me being a moderator of these forums, you should complain to the company running this site not to try to take you petty fight to the forums. |

Actually Eldar, I've never sought to censor free speech - that's the role you undertook, if you remember.
Please note also that those of us who do not moderate do not have the luxury to revise posts after the event. I note with interest that at the time of writing, your response (above) has had 3 different forms.
The forums are here for discussion - I'm using the facility. I'm highlighting hypocrasy; I'll let your peers judge. I've no problem with you saying anything you want - no matter how rediculous it might be - I believe forum users are more than capable of policing; that you closed an active thread is what I object to, as you well know.
Censor yourself to the same standards if you wish to censor others - but don't do so on my behalf - I value the freedom to speak openly far too highly. _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek! |

I'm not going to discuss free speech, censorship, democracy or any other of your personal problems with you. I'm also not going to discuss how I should apply my power of a moderator. You have three choices - complain to PocketGPS World, continue with (mostly) on-topic TTN discussions or find yourself another forum.
If you carry on with this discussion here I will remove your message and lock this topic. |

I wish they'd stop calling them 'safety cameras'
Such a name might be applicable if they actually improved safety. |

do they detect how safely your driving? No
do they catch you if your car flips into the air? No
do they tell you off for using your mobile? No
do they flash at you for driving at speed? Yes
Its an image thing. Im sure that local residents objected tot hem being installed in some town somewhere but then when they resubmitted the proposal with 'Safety Cameras' the old dears were all smiles and feeling good. _________________ Visit Wayfinder Life for all your Wayfinder Navigator needs |

Eldar, these are not his personal problems. There are a number of us here who see you as too heavy-handed, and this is more confirmation of your autocracy.
Free speech issues have destroyed more forums over the years than anything else, when highly-qualified and active members leave over censorship.
You and your peers decide: an active broad forum, or a dessicated contentless shell.
Get off our back. |
