I updated my Tom Tom 700 to v.6.15 recently and now find that all my favourites have disappeared. Is there any way I can recover these? I did take the precaution of backing up before updating!
Thanks

IrishRover | I think that the favourites and other settings are stored in a file called Map_Name.CFG in the Map_Name folder, depending on which map you are using. I presume that you can copy this back. _________________ Jock

The Favourites, in V6.xxx are stored in MapSettings.cfg, but there is also a MapName.cf file.
I haven't had a play to see which one has what in it.
Which ever you change, make sure you keep a Backup Copy. Just in case.;) _________________ Richard

Hi Oldboy
Mapsettings.cfg was the file I needed. Once I copied it from my backup my favourites were restored.
Thanks for your input. Much appreciated.
