I have a 10 month old Garmin 3i
The A1 around Leeds UK is completely wrong.
The GPS thinks I am driving across a field.
How do I correct this map?
Thanks
Chris. |

It takes quite a while for road changes to be remapped by the map provider, Teleatlas or Navtek. Then the sat nav companies will take a while longer to incorporate these changes into their software. As a result most SatNav mapping is at least 2 years out of date. Unfortunately there is no way for you to make your own edits. |

As Terry syas the map is not faulty it is just out of date. that bit of road has only been finished a few months. You will need to buy a new map update when it eventually comes out. _________________ Peter

The current map for the Garmin i3 (vs8) is incorrect through the M62/ A1M junction around Ferry Bridge, as Peter and Terry have said - wait until the next version comes out, if your unit is loaded with vs7 maps then you could ask Garmin for an update (a while ago this service was free, but I am not too sure if it still applies) either way vs7 or vs8 get used to driving across the fields around this junction - Mike |
