Dave - Indeed, we were talking about the Toll Road and its absence from TTN2. Apologies.
Well, it's not there is it. And you can bet your Merc 8O that it won't be there until TTN3. That's what I think. It would cost them a bundle to produce a patch just for this and it won't happen.
Best regards
Joe
PS I know a few chaps who don't live as far North as Newcastle or Carlisle and still think they live in the North. Like Leeds and Manchester, for example. But, quite honestly, who cares? |

I doubt there will be any map updates out now until TTN3. If last year is anything to go by, expect something by April.
It would be a costly exercise to re-issue the maps, but I do think the download option for those who could retrieve them would be a good idea, but it's something that TomTom and other companies have to decide depending on their budgets. It maybe that TomTom may go this route in the future and offer 6 monthly updates. It may however increase the price of TTN to become more in-line with prices for other products, and this would then make TTN less desirable as you may only be getting one country map for the same price as complete European maps compared to other companies. |

dave I think the increase in price would be worth to have completely uptodate maps though by either download or subsripiton at the rate housing estates are being build up and down the country and other roads being built i think going to come to the stage that this kind thing is going to become essesional (it new years eve and ive had few so the spelling not that great hic ) and the company who does this first and alos intergrates tmc is on to a winner _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Happy New Year! I wouldn't let myself anywhere near the keyboard so I set the news releases to automatic mode for last night. I'd hate to have seen what they may have come out like as I was drinking! |
