Does anyone know if / when poiwarner will have the ability to use the miomap v3 software. I've mailed them but had no reply as yet. |

Hi there APMorton.
I have made enquiries regarding this and, although like everyone else did not get a response from Mio, I did get a response from POIWarner.
Below is a copy of the last email I received from them.
Hello Mr. Chris,
Please excuse us we hope that we can publish the POI-Warner for Mio in the near future,
But we are wating for the MIO support they must build in the POI-Warner interface in theire Software
And we hope that this happens fast.
Sincerly yours

So there you have it. We are now waiting for Mio to get off their butt.
Me thinks we're in for a long wait.
CeeJay. |

and here's the reply, I got:-
Hi,
A version of POI-Warner for MioMap 3 is planned indeed but there are
still problems with Mio so that we can't give any dates yet.
Please put some more pressure on Mio and not on us.
If you have further questions, I'll be glad to help.
Sincerely yours,
Robert Lindner

From the tone of the reply it looks as if the POIWarner people are getting a bit tired of answering that question when like us they are waiting for Mitac. I think we should all give them a break now.
It would be nice to think that the software hook they need will be included in MioMap 3.2.

Hi Sal.
I have to agree it does sound like POIWarner are getting the 'ump and it probably is time to give them a break now we know their situation.
Although it has to be said that we wouldn't be pestering POIWarner if Mio answered their emails.
Not hard is it?
