Like Tonkies, I'm a novice here. I downloaded the zip files following the instructions written by Mike Barrett. When I opened them, I couldn't see a file *garmin* and the data file was ascii. not .csv. I also didn't see anything pointing me to look up the version number. I tried saving what I had downloaded to a new folder, but this wasn't recognised - probably because I didn't have .csv.
What next? Can some kind person out there take me through it in simple steps?!
TIA. adrianjohn |

Thanks for this, Anita. I managed to unzip files but got the *no space* message when I tried to load them - although I haven't loaded any extras in before.
So I suppose it's a card. It's all foreign to me. Where do I start on that course?

There's a card slot in the right-hand side of the i3. If there's a card in there press on it and it will pop out far enough for you to grip it and pull it out. If there isn't a card in there you will need to buy a MicroSD card, also known as a TransFlash card. A Google search will return many online suppliers, eg you can get a 512MB card for £16.95 including adapter so it can be used in any card reader that takes ordinary SD cards here: http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/7294.htm. But you may find something cheaper if you look around, and 256MB is probably enough.
Follow the instructions for installing the cameras here: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=28985&start=75, but instead of the i3 connect the card reader with the card inserted and, in POILoader, select the card in the drop down list under 'Device'.
Hope that helps! _________________ Anita
