I have loaded Euro Maps onto SD card, have tried to do a couple of route demo's, but it comes up with an error message, do I have to be in the country (Spain) for this function to work ?, is this why it comes up with the error message.
Thanks in advance......... |

I presume you're in the UK and have set a route to Spain from the UK. Make sure that USE FERRIES is turned on, otherwise it won't know what to do when it gets to the English Channel.... |

If your trying a route to Spain, try loading on the France Maps as well. I tried the same and it said no driveable route so I realised the French maps were missing |

Thanks for the replies, I've managed to get some routes that are local to the start points. But when I try and demo a longer route, from one side of the Island to the other, I just get error messages. |

Please accurately describe the "error message" so we can try to help you. It may seem long winded and a waste of time to you, but please think about how can we possibly help you with the information you have given us so far. |

ehhh yuk. Thats looks nasty - as it seems to happen consistantly call Navman.
The only advise I can give you is reinstall the maps and software, but that is unlikely to fix it. The early Navman systems used to do this sometimes, I thought they had fixed it with service packs etc. |

Hi Robert:
The service packs for ICN500 series have reduced but not eliminated the assert error problems on my ICN520. The error always refers to the same line of source code. I have reported this to Navmen a few times. Since the source line where the error occurs is known I would have thought a fix should be relatively easy but all I get by way of replies from Navman is to reload the maps, this makes no difference.
To be honest the problem is so infrequent that I now just live with it. |
