|
|
I had over a hundred Favourites in my TT5.21 and yesterday they all disappeared when I close my i-Mate Jamin down after a trip.
I have TomTom backed :D up but which file(s) do I need to restore to get my favourites back.
Many thanks, Rog |

Thanks but it didn't fix my issue, however it did help me spot the bad file. Simply copied the backed up "Great_Britain_Plus-Map.cfg" into the maps folder and everything was fixed.
I've now made a folder on my SD card that only holds that file so that I can copy it over if I lose Favourites again.
Thanks for the help. 8) |

I suggest that everyone should create a folder on their SD card and copy "Great_Britain_Plus-Map.cfg" from the TomTom Great_Britain_Maps" folder into the new folder.
If/when you lose Favoutrites/Cameras then simply copy the file over and overwrite the bad one.
It does look like a serious fault in TomTom to me and seems to be happening in all TT 5.xx versions according to the thread listed above.
It may save a lot of upset. |
