Hi everyone
I purchased the Nuvi 310 after the motor show where i was playing around with one.
I am looking at downloading the speed camera database and would like to know do i need a SD card to load information onto or just load onto device?
Also can you download other things like different voices like on tomtom?
Sorry if these have been talked about before, i did have a search but couldn't find the information
Cheers

Hi taztam and
In reply to your questions, I just install the speedcams straight to the nuvi
(310) and they work very well, there is also another program by MaFt if you want to tweek them a bit.
As far as I am aware there are no downloads of other voices available, but I am sure someone will post otherwise if there are

Hi again tam, when you first open this board there are things called stickys, they are there all the time, second one down is ash10`s speedcam instructions for tweaking them mostly. If I was you though I would stick to installing the speedcams onto the nuvi first and checking how they suit your needs before you start playing with other settings.
first go to the speedcams link and pick out garmin i3, nuvi and download the speedcams from there. you will need a program like winzip or winace to unzip them. Put them in a new file in my documents for instance call it "speedcams august". If you get stuck again.....shout

You are welcome, I think you will find the speedcams work fine and are very accurate, also the nuvi is a nice piece of kit. Just keep following the threads and look at the older ones and the stickys you will learn a lot as you look through them.
