|
|
I have the 910 and a nokia N80. With the current firmware I am unable to down load the phone book from my Nokia to the Tomtom.
However browsing the TomTom I have found a contacts folder with two text files for reciently dialed & Recent callers.
Can anyone tell me if the phone book held in the same folder in the same format or where is it so that I can manually create one.
Many thanks _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |

Hi Mark,
Yes, you can create a contacts list in the contacts folder, the file should be named contacts.txt and is in the same format as the other two files ("name","number").
Hope this helps

Thanks for sharing. I'd been trying to explain this to someone for their 910 and this, said what I was trying to say much clearer and more concise. Thanks. |

The only way I have found that I can do it is very convoluted. I used Nokia sync to copy the contacts into outlook. I then copied the outlook contacts into a Sony-Ericsson T610 and paired this with tomtom. It copies the phonebook and suffixes each number with "/M" for mobile and "/H" for home etc.
Don't think you'd necessarily need a T610 but any other phone that the TT can read the phonebook from would probably suffice.
As I said, convoluted... |
