I have a copy of the Tom Tom 5.21 DVD, can I install this onto my PDA and use it without a conncetion to either the internet or a phone. ie just to see the maps |

You can browse the map without a GPS connection, if thats what you mean. Its on the second page when you tap the screen. |

You would need a GPS to track your location. There are Browse Map and Advanced Planning functions to allow you to make use of it without the GPS. BUT a PDA screen really isn't the best for doing this, except in emergency or "in the field". I'd recommend one of the online maps/planning options if you're sitting at your PC. _________________ Jock

When you say "copy" do you mean a legitimately bought product or one that is an illegal hack?
You don't need to be connected to the internet or the phone to use Sat Nav. All you need is to be connected to a compatable sat nav receiver (bluetooth or serial port usually). _________________ Peter
