|
|
My wife borrowed my Nuvi 300 at the weekend, she was going to a health spa at some fancy place, the building didn't have a number only a name, I just had to put the road name in and leave the number in the end as the nuvi doesn't recognise building names only numbers.
Is their anyway around this? ![Sad](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif) |

An interesting question, i'd also like to know the answer to this! However, i'm fairly sure that there is no way to put in a name, you probably have to make do with putting 0. |

A 0 does the job, but do mot nbe surprised to find many new building sbuilt on Brown Field Sites sharing older no longer standing addresses post codes.
Recently found an old about to be demolished building shared its old post code with about 80 3 month or so old new buildings and roads behind it on its old factory site with the entrance to the site a good 1/2 mile away. |

Thanks for the reply guys, if you leave the building number blank it will just direct you to the road, problem being the road my wife was going to was miles long, she came to it at a 't junction' and didn't know wether to turn left or right, she turned right but it turned out to be the wrong way ![Laughing](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif) |
