Medion MDPPC150

Hi all, dont know if you can help, but I recenlty bought a second hand MDPPC 150 PDA and a few days ago recieved TomTom v5 navigator software, but it doesnt detect my built in GPS.

I have read around about upgrading the firmware, but at the moment am awaiting a replacment active sync cable from Medion (whihc they are being pretty slow about) and was wondering if this is the problem or should I just cut my losses..

The tomtom software seems to be working fine apart form the signal.

Start TomTom. Tap on the five bars at the bottom right, then anywhere in the large white rectangle. Tap on Configure.

Select Other NMEA - Baud Rate 4800 - Serial2

or just select TomTom GPS and try that.

You should see a little spinning circle, top right. Go outside and wait, first lock can take a while.
