TomTOm Home keeps asking for map registration

hi,

Finaly I got my bought and downloaded maps installed on the SD disk but now I have the following problem:

My TomTom 510 doesn't see the maps since they are not shown in the menu where you can change the map.

When I open TomTom Home, I can see them on my COMPUTER and from there I install them to the TomTom 510. Using the MY GO 510 TOOL inside here I can select the maps and I do register them from here. Now as I would like to disconnect the TomTom from the pc there is no map, besides the original one, that I can select from the change map menu.

This all makes me a little frustrated since I lost my whole sunday on trying to find out what to do but I still didnt' get it.

lloydd, I appreciate your frustration at getting this working but can you please consolodate your posts into a single thread from now on, it helps others to understand what has been suggested so far, this is the third thread on the same problem in one day! see HERE and HERE keeping posts into a single thread really does help all concerned - Mike

You're very right in this.

If there would be the option to edit your own post I would have don so but since there isn't I hoped and thought that my problem might be resolved faster if I would make another thread.
