I bought myself two maps and downloaded them on my pc. Got the product code and after inserting them in www.ttcode.com also the activationcode of each map. I added these maps to my SD card but if I want to change map I do not find either of them. There is only the original West Europe map. I also do not see or find any interface where I can insert the activationcode of these new maps. Maybe one of you got the same experiences and now what to do?
Your help is much appreciated.

First question is "where did you get the maps from"? |

I bought the maps from TomTom and downloaded them. I have the product codes with me and together with the product code of the TT510 they gave me an activation code. The problem is that I do not know where to insert the activation code since there is no interface asking me for it. I can see the maps on my mem.stick but I can not find them when I want to change map on the TT. |

Did you really complete installation of those maps? Did you run the setup, or did you just put the downloaded file on your SD card? You should run the Setup.
Then the maps should show up when switching maps.
Do you see the maps installed on your 510, when connected to HOME (right column in Explore section)?
And what type of card are you using? Size, brand? _________________ GO1005

I am using a 1 Gig Twinmis SD card.
I tried to install both maps in two ways:
1) Using TomTOm Home. Home finds these maps on my pc and I can add them to the TomTom (where I can see the European Map) but when finished installing I notice that it replaces one map for the other. Therefore I can never see three maps installed togerher. Then after when I check the TomTom, the only map I find it the Western Europe one.
2) Using the exe.file of each downloaded map which finishes correctly but also here I can not find the maps in the TT when I want to change map from the menu. On the SD stick I can see the map of Iberia and Milano though.
I try to download the maps again and I will format the SD card to have a fresh installation.
Thank you for your prompt reactions

I bought the TT510 with the Italian version of Western Europe. Please do not think that I am trying to find out something about illegal installation here. I bought everything for real money!! |

I noticed that it is the Italian map plus, with European main streets. |
