Updating maps on Garmin i3 street pilot.

Had this unit for a while and am happy with it.Recently however I have come across a couple of routes in the wilds of Lincolnshire where turn offs haven't existed or been dead ends.Also in Lincoln city centre I was directed to go the wrong way up a one way street.
My question is
Is it possible to download updated maps and if so how?

The latest mapping is v8. If you have v7 you can get a free update to v8 by sending your card to Garmin. Us the 'Search' facility above to find previous threads which give details of how to do this.

When new mapping becomes available you'll have to pay for it. If you keep an eye on this site someone's sure to post the moment it's released.
