| HI, anyone have any experience of this? Seems to have all the bells and whistles, 3d view, speed camera module etc. This product only seems to be marketed by one website. Your comments appreciated. |

I thought it was just a rebranded version of PowerLoc Destinator. It may depending on the version also be packaged together with some of Kane Gear's Pocketpc software which they have integrated. So at least that is what the website says....
Never really understood the concept of providing a rebadged product unless it is a lot less than the original....

| It does use Destinator (now v2), but they have written a lot of plug-ins to give speed camera databases and other POI add-ins. |

| AFAIK they do, but when they go to Destinator 3 this will change I'm sure. |

What I cant understand ..If I can Buty destinator £ with BT receiver for almost £320 , why Kane car pilot Lux cost mor then double that..???  |

Getting Kane to respond to anything, even requests for review copies is extremely difficult at best. We've been waiting, ooooh about a year now for a review copy, so I doubt we'll get anyone from Kane here soon (although it is the Christmas Season, and miracles do happen!).
We have acquired a loan of Kane Car Lux which we will be reviewing shortly. |
